Nitin used to be familiar with the concept of sleep; until he was introduced to the intoxicating world of filmmaking. Sleep is now a concept that is as alien as a half-finished job.

He moved to Mumbai in 1998 and took the conventional road, studying for a B.Com that was useful for one thing: it helped him decide that he didn't want to be an MBA, or anything that involved crunching numbers. Soon after attending roughly 0% of lectures and 100% of college theater dramatics and inter-college festivals, Nitin jumped full throttle into settling down behind the camera.

What he values most is variety in his work; with fresh ideas and new challenges, evinced by the diverse films he has directed- car commercials for Hyundai i10 and Toyota Etois. Laptop commercials for Acer, Jewelry commercials for the Forever Group an uber stylish title sequence for an upcoming film, a Digital film for Intel – Dharavi which won him a Blue Elephant at the Kyoorius awards a campaign of 52 films for Big Bazaar and the 1st Digital interactive film from India for DBS Chilli Paneer which was voted the best Digital campaign for 2014 by NDTV and won the Content Marketing Campaign of the Year at Content Marketing Summit (Asia).

He prides himself on having an eye for detail and his creative commitment is further amplified by his love for the written word. Nitin is also a writer and has contributed in that department to most of his work both behind the camera and in front of the page.

As a Director at Equinox, he hopes to take his tireless passion to the next level. And, hopefully spend many more sleepless nights in pursuit of our shared vision.
